Description

This Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge is rich, gooey, chocolatey, and unbelievably easy to make. With creamy chocolate layers, a smooth caramel center, and crunchy pecans, it's a show-stopping holiday treat that comes together in minutes—no thermometer required.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 ounces caramel pieces
  • 1 heaping tablespoon heavy cream (or evaporated milk)
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place caramel pieces and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth; set aside.
  4. Combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and sea salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and chopped pecans.
  7. Pour half of the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Pour melted caramel over the chocolate layer and spread gently.
  9. Top with remaining chocolate mixture.
  10. Use a knife to gently swirl layers together.
  11. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until fully set.
  12. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Toast pecans for extra flavor. Use medium heat when melting chocolate to prevent seizing. Allow fudge to fully set before cutting for clean squares.
